چکیده
In this letter, we investigate a cell-free network aided by hybrid reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs), which consists of mixture passive and active elements that are capable amplifying reflecting the incident signal. To maximize energy efficiency (EE) system, formulate joint transmit beamforming RIS coefficient optimization problem. deal with fractional objective function, Dinkelbach transform, Lagrangian dual reformulation, quadratic transform utilized, block coordinate descent (BCD) based algorithm proposed to decouple variables. addition, successive convex approximation (SCA) method is applied iteratively tackle non-convexity sub-problems. Simulation results illustrate effectiveness convergence through analyzing EE sum rate performance varying parameter settings. The scheme can achieve 5% 188% gain in compared existing RISs. fast analyzed numerical simulations as well.

متن کاملSaturation Mutagenesis by Efficient Free-Energy Calculation
Single-point mutations in proteins can greatly influence protein stability, binding affinity, protein function or its expression per se. Here, we present accurate and efficient predictions of the free energy of mutation of amino acids. We divided the complete mutational free energy into an uncharging step, which we approximate by a third-power fitting (TPF) approach, and an annihilation step, w...

The visiting and less-privileged status of the secondary users (SUs) in a cognitive radio network obligates them to release the occupied channel instantly when it is reclaimed by the primary user. The SU has a choice to make: either wait for the channel to become free, thus conserving energy at the expense of delayed transmission and delivery, or find and switch to a vacant channel, thereby avo...
